Winning over the Woman Dental Consumer

Ive been lucky enough to have most of my clients being female,the main thing Ive learn from working with ladies is thier approach to the patient in the chair,not speaking for all woman, however most of my ladies were doin two things that drove me crazy, sitting on the edge of thier 600 dollar stool and reaching at arms length to work. Men seeme much more incline to pull that stool all the way into thier back and fully place thier weight equally and tend to work with the patient as much in thier lap as possible. I always take the time to show proper techniqe with all the adjustments the stool came with, tilt, back rise and lower and of course the base rise and lower...Ive found that most woman are more comfortable with a salli stool since it forces them to sit up right with feet flat on the floor, the other adjustment is that the reason dental chairs are design thin and narrow is so you can get into the patient, how to use the magnatic headrest or double art headrest into posistion for them....ive never failed to get a thank you from a lady dds when i take 4 minutes to show them the proper work posistion to save them fatigue and stress to the body.....quick look at my books here and I see that over 70 percent of my clients are ladies...damn no wonder I love this job.....josh
