Summer happenings @ DSP and First Impressions

I thought I should give everyone an update on all the happenings going on at DentalSalesPro and First Impressions magazine.  As usual I have been traveling like a crazy person going to dental meetings, dental manufacturer HQs as well as visiting with distribution reps.

We have also been hard at work building a bigger and better magazine that helps manufacturers and distributors connect and learn more about each other.  The October issue of First Impressions will be our biggest ever.  If you don't receive the magazine you can find it available on line every month.  Here is a link to all of our archived magazines.  Archived First Impressions.

The DSPConnect app is our latest project.  With over 1,700 rep downloads and 11,000 sessions the DSPConnect app really has taken off.  We recently developed the app for the Android platform so now dealer reps have access to manufacturer literature on the Blackberry, iPhone/iPad and now Droid devices.  The interesting thing about this app is that it is super simple to use and just about as simple for a manufacturer to add their literature.  You can get more details HERE.   

What is going on with DentalSalesPro.com?  Well there certainly has been a shift in where people socially interact online.  Dental people seem to spend more time on Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter than DSP to connect with each other and their customers.  So it is natural to think then that less people must be visiting DSP if there is less social interaction here.  Actually the number of people visiting DSP has gone up!  We continue to post new and unique content on DSP specifically geared to educate and inform the dental sales rep.  We then share this content through the various social networks.  So the content on DSP is then commented upon on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
