Friday is very strong @ Mid-Winter
By all accounts Friday made up for the slow start on Thursday. Spoke to several DSP members and they were all very happy with traffic and sales for Friday.
Meeting was in McCormick West this year and was well laid out. Love the fact that the booth numbers were on the floor in front of each booth.
The DSP/ Proofs Mid-Winter Meet Up was a blast. Great to see Mark Haas, Troy Steinbach, Ben Oliver, Kevin Henry, Tony Stefanou, Byron Dougherty, Dawn Kasper, Tricia Price, Joe Donohue, Anastasia and everyone else that stopped by.
A bit of snow may hinder the meeting for Saturday ..... more to come.

Overall, people seem to be thrilled that exhibits are now open on Thursday instead of Sunday. Most people said that Thursday was busier than the Sundays of previous years. However, it seems like Saturday was a bit quiet because more people attended on Thursday and Friday.
I also wonder if the exhibit hall seemed less crowded this year because it is so much bigger. Some of the new booths are just massive. The new A-dec booth is the biggest thing I have ever seen A-dec display, and the Nobel Biocare booth was over the top. At GNY, Nobel's booth was tiny, and this thing made the infamous Schein "boat" from 2008 look tiny!
