Wow, I had a heart stopping experience over the weekend while doing a job in San Francisco. I moved some equipment (2ops) from one side of the hallway to the other side so they could take advantage of the glass corner Ops that overlook union square instead of the blank walls the patients were lookin at now....the original ops had the units hooked up to the building water plumbing and I told them I wouldnt do that because the plumber never put on angel valves and I wasnt gonna cut into water…Continue
Well here we are...the CDA and ADA are over and we have a slight breather before things get rolling in DC and in NYC to wrap up the year with meetings.
I heard the same things voiced at the CDA and ADA that I hear at every meeting. Some people can't figure out why they continue to come to these meetings , but yet they still show up. The iPad 3 looks like it is slated for Q4 release. Pretty hard to find out any details about the iPad 3 except that it looks like the screen resolution will be a bit higher and the screen size may be larger as well. At this point no one is sure if the requested USB port will be available for the 3. Although with apps like Dropbox it doesn't seem to be as big a deal as everyone makes it out to be.

We are starting to see more and more iPads, popping up with dental sales reps. Schein probably has the most of all the big dealers, but suprisingly enough the folks over @ Patterson have entire branches that have embraced this technology as well. Benco had a dining area roped off @ their national sales meeting for iPad users only. There are also many ADC member companies that are using this tablet technology to be more efficient.
