The first day of the Yankee Meeting is Boston was slow from a sales side. We spoke with several manufacturers that confirmed this. The weather in the morning didn't help. Ice on the roads caused issues. Friday and Saturday are typically the busier days. Let us hope so.

Happy New Year to all!
We are finally getting set up in our new digs here on DSP.
We are hearing from several of the distributors that now must buy their 3M/ESPE products from NDC (National Distribution and Contracting) that the transistion has not been as smooth as 3M/ESPE and NDC said it would be. Since the letters went out the first week of December and the new system was to start January 1, 2009, that didn't leave alot of time (3 weeks in an already short month)…

I was officially “bona fide”. Like Holly Hunter in “O Brother Where Art Thou”, I vaguely knew the meaning of the word, but it was the first one that came to mind when I received the official job offer and concomitant, company, coffee mug, professionally embraced by clear crinkle wrap, tied with a scissor-curled ribbon.
