Benjamin Oliver said… - Hi Shawn, I've noticed that you take this website quite seriously so I would like your direct imput, if you don't mind, about a thread in the job or career section of this website. In a nutshell, I'm right out of college and looking for a job in this field. I don't have sales experience, but considering until last year I wanted to be a dentist, I have countless hours of dental shadowing experience, completed a multitude of science courses(including a dental morphology class), and was the president of the student dental association at my University. I am willing to do extensive traveling and willing to relocate. I was just wondering what you thought my next move should be.

- Wow, thanks so much for the quick reply! Well my mom always told me not to play with matches, so I'll take your advice on the bridges. I really don't have a preference between operatory and the lab field yet, I just figure any experience in the first few years is good experience. So I guess my next step will be just to send out my resume to everyone regardless of level of experience. Once again thanks for the advice, and if you hear of any position openings that you think might be a fit I would love to send you my resume. Again, I have no preference as to where I am located or where it will take me. I guess youth does have some advantages!
PS nice music, but as a professional in the dental field, I think "Brush your teeth" by Raffi is a must.
