- ****Update!!! After 5+ years of networking & interviewing, I finally got in with an amazing company!! The hardwork has paid off & I am so very excited about this new path!****
Well currently I'm in the grind of trying to break into Dental Sales ! I was trained in the Air Force as a Dental Assistant and now have 14+ years experience working in high end cosmetic dentistry. I have had the honor to assist some of the most prestigious doctors in our field and now I would like to parlay my knowledge outside of patient care. Thanks for the compliment (the compliment goes to Premier Dental too)! When I got out of college-my father said " you have to get with a company and stay for 30 years!" I thought-yeah right not my idea of work. 20 years latter and I wouldn't have wanted to do it differently.
Your "signature" offers you the best advise!! If you live it you will do well in all endevors. ANY of the dental retailers are great to work for-it takes a mentor and an chance! Looks like you are on your way.
Having chairside experience will keep the product learning curve low. Just as getting along in an office is the key-being wanted in a clients office is the new goal.

- Well, I had a wonderful experience at Schein. I worked out of the Philly area and my team was extremely supportive. The company is available to its sales force even in a large organization. Make great relationships with the manufacturing reps, they will be a big help getting through the door and help drive your sales. Good luck.
