I had a colleague who was on the floor for a couple days and verified that it was pretty light. However, everyone raves about the amenities, food and that it was really the best thought out tradeshow they had attended. In my honest opinion, I think the concept was incredible and a breath of fresh air for our industry (More IDS/less CDA), however without the attendee support it's hard to get the sponsors in the door. Another great example of this kind of show was the Discus Extravaganza that used to bring 3,000 fired up dentists to hear people like Trump, Dr. Phil etc. This was a huge brand building event for them. If the expectations are set properly, DPRworld could be very successful.

Apparently DPR will try it again next year. They may have turned off enough companies with their unrealistic expectations with this first one. Not sure what you have to do to sell it next year?
