Hello Everone,
So as we all are, I'm looking forward and preparing for what I hope to be a fantastic 2010. As of right now I work in tech services in Chicago, but is my hope to be out in the field at some point this year. I'm kind of obsessed with being prepared for a situation before it happens, so I've been taking a look at office organization.
I've spoken to countless reps, retail and manufacturing, and it seems like a lot of time could be saved by streamling office paperwork. This includes oranizing business cards, receipts, and invoices. I've been looking on the net and have found what seems to be a great solution. It's called Neat Desk, and can be found at www.neatco.com. It seems to cover all of the aforementioned. Has anyone ever used this or heard of this?

I just saw 2 products from this company advertised in the Sky Mall magazine on the plane yesterday. Here is the link

As I get off the plane in Philadelphia I see a sign in the airport saying that Neatco is the vendor of the quarter at the Philadelphia airport. My guess is you can find it at an airport near you or I am sure Amazon has it.
I haven't used it, but it would be nice for business cards, receipts, and to keep my desk clean.

UsuallyI am a bit wary of a product that is listed between a bug zapper and a marshmallow launcher, but it seems great. I actually received feedback from one of my outside reps and she says it works great.
Hopefully I'll have my own territory soon. Then I'll get it and let you know!

Just saw an ad for the NeatDesk in the latest issue of Fast Company. The cool thing about the NeatDesk is that it will actually categorize your receipts to maximize your tax deductions. So listen up you commissioned reps and small business owners. This should make tax time a bit easier. Speaking of that it is about time for DSP to do its taxes and I have all my receipts in a shoe box. Should make for a great weekend.
