Deb,

Lots of questions to ask yourself. Low salary with commission may sound good, but is this an established product. If so, why is this a virgin territory? In pharma, you have the potential to make $100M by the second year, if you apply yourself. Ask what is your potential for commission by the end of 2011?

How well is this company known? Will they be accepted by dentists? What/who is there competition and how well is that competition seated already (how much market share do they have)? What is the company reputation in the dental industry?

Thank you Don. A lot to think about. The comfort in Pharma is that you have the salary..I was making 75,000 plus an annual bonus IF you had a good year. This company (I surveyed a few Dentists) is well established and a definite player. The salary is low but the monthly commission cheques should be able to have me where I was at my previous position. There is an annual bonus there as well. This is virgin territory because it was handled by another region in Canada and travel was a huge issue. They want someone "homegrown" to grow the business.
