HINMAN 2009
What are your thoughts about the HINMAN meeting this year? I was there on Thursday and Friday. Friday was the better day in terms of turnout – not surprising. Many were still talking about how the Mid-Winter meeting was a great show…

I heard an interesting rumor that exhibitor floor space sales were 30% below expectations, which is why the "Hinman Eatery" took up such a big chunk of the floor. I was only there on Thurs, morning was very slow, afternoon picked up nicely.

That was the same feel the Yankee had. A ton of room to eat , but less vendors. Got held up in Savannah and couldn't get to Hinman this year.

True...unlike Yankee though, the Hinman provided everyone with Hinman Dining Dollars, it was fantastic

I just completed my survey for the Hinman Meeting.
I wish the Dental Societies would publish the results of these surveys so we would know how many exhibitors are disappointed.

I was at the Hinman all three days and boy was Thursday a bust, The floor was flooded with students, Lots of talk, lots of giving samples but little sales, Friday was great and Saturday I can't complain sales where steady. I feel Hinman was better then Chicago!!
