So I don't want this to become too much of a political discussion, but...
35% of Tennesseans over 65 have NOOOOO permanent teeth left in their mouth. This can only be bested by Kentucky and West Virginia!!!!
Funny, yet pathetic
I was reading an article in the Tennessean about soon to come changes in the Obamarama world of healthcare. In it, the author stated that changes are going to be made for both the healthcare execs that are "earning" record salaries and profits year after year, and the citizens of the 2nd most obese nation in the world(Australia just passed us!!). The author highlighted American insatiable appetite for the 4th Meal, sedentary lifestyles, and smoking habits as reasons why we are such butterballs.
Now I agree that the healthcare system is mocking the citizens of this country by profiting off of our health problems, but we need to learn to take care of ourselves. I'm tired of being asked why I exercise so much, considering I am 6’3” 185 pounds with 10% body fat. How the hell do you think I was able to get to that point? I don't smoke, exercise regularly, and make conscience decisions about what I shove into my face. So if I get sick, and need to go to the doctor or a specialist, then I have no qualms with using my healthcare plan.
Changes on both ends need to be made, but let’s take care of ourselves before we blame others.
