The Sales Operations Specialist provides sales administration support to an international sales team. The position is primarily responsible for preparing price quotes, processing orders, and responding to sales related inquiries from customers and resellers.
Responsibilities:
Professionally interface (via phone and email) with channel partners and customers to build strong relationships
Generate and deliver timely maintenance quotes and follow up to close sale
Generate product and services quotes for sales team.
Process purchase orders submitted by customers and resellers, verifying product and pricing
Acts as liaison with customer, reseller, and sales team to resolve order problems
Administer software licenses and prepares media shipment if required
Monitor training order fulfillment to expedite invoicing
Assist Manager of Worldwide Sales Operations in preparing, distributing and maintaining worldwide distributor contracts, logs and files, and dealer lists.
Authorize demonstration licenses and portal passwords for distributors and customers.
Respond to technical and sales related emails and telephone inquires from customers, resellers and internal personnel.
Work well with other departments to maintain or improve intra-departmental processes and communication.
Maintain integrity of customer database.
Gather data and prepare reports on department metrics and sales statistics.
Perform other sales support duties or projects as requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associates degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years experience in order processing or sales administration
Demonstrated organizational skills necessary to coordinate and prioritize daily activities & projects
Experience using standard MS office desktop applications, intermediate Excel skills
Preferred experience with CRM systems or other proprietary software systems.
