Brag Books!
We all are supposed to be keeping them. Even if you're completely happy in your current position you never know when you'll have to present yourself to what could be a great opportunity.
Just curious if there are any tools you all have found work best to keep your successes in order. In the past, I kept a file in my Outlook with all my positive emails. However my IT department decided we were keeping too many emails and deleted everything! Now I wanted to put together a refresher of my time as a sales rep and I'm starting to brainstorm some new ideas for the old brag book.
- Using the iPad as a brag book?

- Do you keep a list of all the acknowledgement you've received?
- Quotations from customers?
- YouTube referral videos?

An iPad would work if you are an equipment specialist using this digital brag book to show off your portfolio of dental offices. It would also work for equipment and technology reps to show how their equipment looks in different operatory setups.
Using an iPad as a digital brag book for a job interview would be tough because you have nothing to leave behind. On one hand it shows that you are techno hip, but you want that information to be something that the interviewing manager or recruiter can take with them. Maybe what you do is present the brag book on your iPad and then have a nicely bound (Kinko's would do) hard copy brag book to let them leave with. Certainly would show that you are organized and prepared.
