Benco aquires Esperansa Dental
Benco makes another move into the CA market with it's acquisition of Esperansa Dental. Esperansa will act as a Benco branch serving the Southern California market.

It's interesting that Esperanza dental is neither a Kerr nor Dentsply authorized dealer. It seem to me that when these big manufactureres withhold authorized dealership status from certain distributors this weakens those distributors such that a take over by the big three or four dental distributors is financially easier. Which serves the manufacturers & big dental distributors exclusively and the end result is less competition & higher prices.
