Henry Schein National Sales Meeting
Just wanetd to post a quick review of the HSD National Sales Meeting. I won't post any specific information, but rather a general overview.
This was, by far, the largest event for the company. Opening day was exciting, as old friends gathered one more time to catch up both personally and professionally.
The event began on a somber note, as we paused for a moment to mourn the passing of three of our cherished sales reps. I personally knew one of them, Marc Bouscal. Marc was an incredible man both personally and professionally. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Speaking with the various manufacturers that were present, all noted that this was a great meeting. New products, new initiatives and alliances, and a strengthening of age-old partnerships all were the topic of discussion.
The final awards ceremony was capped off with an award given to the top rep not only for Schein, but in the industry as well. In order to protect privacy, I will not mention the reps name or sales figures, but let it suffice to say....WOW!!!!!!!!
I continue to marvel at the power of Henry Schein. Yet, with our size and might, we still maintain a corporate culture that is second to none.
I'd love to hear from others in attendance.

I was the Healthco Manager in Hayward California and Marc worked for me. He was such a great enthusiastic person, I always enjoyed speaking with him.
He will be missed.

We had some people at the meeting and everyone had a great time and learned a lot. It amazes me that the Gaylord can handle so many people for meals at one time. The events night was great with the mechanical bull and casino games. Heard that the Gaylord in Nashville is twice the size of the one in TX. Should be interesting to get around next year.

Great meeting. This was my 3rd Schein National Sales Meeting and every year is better than the last. We presented to several hundred territory representatives at this meeting and are always treated with respect.
I've added some pictures from the Night Ranger concert which was the last night of the meeting. Now that was a blast.
